Been working on this one for awhile. Just looking for opinions on the mix. Thanks!

Somehow... I thought your link took me to something else? It was playing something else. And then the screen flashed and ya have 2 tracks posted but you're saying you work on " this one ". Which one? One as in both? This link just changed on me again?

Would you mind telling us the title of the song you want us to listen to? The one I see, the one I'm listening to is called Dynamite Day. But then it also takes me to Sound Cloud. Where it appears you have numerous other samples. None of which sound anything like what I'm hearing in Dynamite Day. So what gives?

I know I had brain surgery but...?

Definately reminds me of Beck, as far as mixing style, his parts seem to cut more drastically, like the got 2 turntables and a megaphone.

Also there is some lack of momentum to the arrangement, and it's drawn out. I love the 90s too, maybe add some additional Harmonys on the choruses. This arrangement is confusing. If this was a live set at the club, it'd be ok maybe, it's not that, it's a song. There's just way too many parts.

I'm not trying to be mean but a pretty low percentage of songs have aCapella intros. I'd tighten the arrangement up. Keep the best three parts, use some effects to add drama and sell a little at a time.

I don't mind a capella vox if they are done well, and yours are fine both pitch and performance-wise ( although the producer in me says "double track them!!" LOL )...but I'm not really crazy about the hard L/R panning you have going on with them.

But, that's a production thing, not an engineering comment.
