Hey guys,
I tracked a session at 48k using a Focusrite preamp. I mixed it. I mastered it, but when I went to bounce and convert to 44.1 for CD burning, the conversion didn't happen properly, and thus my recording has been tranquilized. Can someone give me some suggestions (aside from "don't track in 48k")? Thanks!
(if this is a common question, and has already been answered, can someone send me the URL? I appologize for any possible redundancies.)
--By the way, I'm using Pro Tools. Thanks again!

Don't use protools to do the conversion, it sucks bad. Either bounce you mix as 48k and let the ME do the conversion or get something like barbabatch to do the conversion, or do an D/A/D conversion. Protools will spit it out pretty much like your body will with a steak the night before.

Re-open the session>select region(s)>bounce to disk>Select interlaced/44.1/16 bit/conversion quality "tweakhead" and hit save.
I'm not sure what else there is to it.
Good luck,
Chris
