MOTU 2408 MKII converters

Hi Guys,

What do you think of the MOTU 2408 MKII converters ?
I want to use them to A/D convert from Fostex G16 1/2" tape to my PC.

I use them. They sound ok, but my critical tracks all go through a Fatso before converters, so I knock off some of the inherent sterility in cheaper A to Ds.

If I had the money I'd get Lucid, Apogee or Mytek. Or 3 more Fatsos.

I also use them but my 2 ch rosetta sounds much better and I use

I also use them but my 2 ch rosetta sounds much better and I use it for my more critical tracks like vocals and lead instruments. The 2ch rosetta plugs in the 828 via spdif
