I saw that this is out now. I've been thinking about getting a "neve-like" pre for a while. Would this provide coloration simmilar to the 1272?

I've never used a 1272... but I love the thickness & smoothness that the MP-2NV gets for me so far. Add the flexibility with the impedance and loading switches, and I'm even happier.

Fletcher, have you used it with the likes of an RNC or SPECK eq dialed in much???
Seems like a REAL flexible signal chain. Taking 'bang for the buck' to more of a 'kick in the teeth for the buck' type of thing.
