I started in the basement
and it turned into a jam room for recording all in one
So here is the new look
The Acer monitor on the right has sat TV as well, LOL, the large screen on the wall is for the video cameras
!8 x 13 foot room and I still managed to clutter it up LOL.
I know some of you guys have some blow your mine studios
so lets keep it to in your home studios

Here is the new location. I still need to get the acoustic treatment up, but the gear is moved in. I have a control room, drum rooom, vocal booth and Amp closet.

Thanks Link555.
The speakers, Ya
They were a deal at a garage sale. They are great for pumping out
the tunes that have nothing to do with recording (Loud Rock and Roll)
The same thing happened with me as the gear gets bought before the space is compleated. LOL

Okay, I'll bite! Here's my modest home setup. I've added another Delta 44 and a few more pre's (crappy, for now) to get 8 inputs live...

So far, so good...I also picked up a Sennheiser MD421, and am in the market for a better bass and vocal channel. Peace! Andy

Thanks all! Actually, we normally track my band with bass, drums and guitar (and scratch vocal) live. The drums as shown in the pic, the bass run direct, and the guitar amp in the closet. There's a door between the closet and bathroom with about a 2" gap at the bottom. Last time I put an SM57 on the guitar amp in the closet (which is full of clothes and very dead sounding), and then put an MXL 2001 in the bathroom about a foot from that gap at the door bottom. This gave me a little natural echo sound to mix in. I've tried vocals in the bathroom with the MD421 and that worked out well. Andy
