I had a pair of the early versions (powered, I think they were called YPM-1a ) and they were OK, certainly no hype in their response. Bought them based on a MIX review several years ago and the fact that I have had good experiences with Yorkville gear. Mixes translated very well, they replaced a pair of NS-10ms that had bit the dust, and I never missed the Yammies. I had to go more portable, though, that's when I bought NHT Mini-Moo's and they've done very well, too.
