I have a real old JCM Marshall 800 2x12 Combo Amp and I was wondering how I could figure out the year of the model
The Serial No. on the back has 11507R
Anybody have any guesses?

THe JCM800 was introduced in 1981 and ran through the 80's. If you e-mail them, be prepared to give them more info than just the serial#. I was asked about the front panel (whether it had a"split channel" design) and what color the "fret cloth" (grille cloth, this was a combo amp) was.
