Hello there,
I am thinking of buying an electronic drum kit, and to go with it a copy of BFD2. Does BFD2 work well with Logic, and how does it integrate? Thanks for your time.

Are you on a 64 bit operating system and is your version of Logic 64 bit? If yes to both of these questions and if your memory control module can handle it, I would go 6gb or 8gb. Do you have to have it? Probably not if you have tweaked your system hard enough.
If however either your OS is 32 bit or Logic is 32 bit then it is a moot point. 4GB is your limit on ram.

I'm using it and it works fairly well. I get an occasional glitch in the audio, probably due to not enough ram in the computer, So sometimes I have to re-punch a section during conversion to audio. But it's still faster than punching in a live drummer.
It has 16 outs so pretty much everything can have it's own track.
It integrates as a regular plugin in similar to the EXS24. You set up auxes for the individual outs.
