Seems a good idea, but needs to be tested....
The main drawback of this is Space. Sometimes the mic itself is hard to place in best position at a drumset.
For the last recording I did 2 days ago there would not have been a chance to use it.
But I, too, would like to hear from ppl who use it if it is any good.
