Have you huys heard of this new storage device...
You can put up to 4GB of DDR Ram on it and it connects via SATA
Windows sees it as a hard drive, but it's RAM (fast random access, much lower latency, quiet, and much faster fily i/o than a regular hard drive)

looks like an interesting idea!... . I would imagine it would reduce latencies for those people who are heavily samplers. In terms of vst count i wounldn't think it would do a great deal. Problem is, sample libraries are quite big in general, and constantly shifting samples in and out of the i.Ram would be annoying (although frighteningly quick).
