Here is a link to teaser for a mini documentary that I finished for a client (The town where I live and run my business in). I'll share the full mini-doc when it is released Tuesday. There were several audio challenges. The mini-doc gave three musicians employment and my consulting company work. I will be making about 50 mini documentaries this year and the musicians I work with will get a ton of work from it. Companies, governments and non profits all need to tell their stories. Musicians help tell the story.
I'd love to know what you guys think. These documentaries happen really fast. about 25hours each including creating, recording, mixing music. The music portion is about 4 hours. We record several songs at once, mix them all at the same time ITB. It's not how I make records and limiters get abused but the job gets done.

what I actually thought was totally different. I saw the firefighters, and figured the documentary was going to be about three musicians who had got taken on as part-time fire fighters. I started to watch and wondered if we’d see them fighting a fire, the stripping off the gear and see them in the studi. Then I suddenly thought maybe they were rockers and the music was them. Then I realised it was the show title sequence and the musos had recorded the title theme and were nothing to do with the firemen, then I rethought, heard the guitar bass and drums, realised this was the three musicians and felt a bit stupid! Reading your post again, I’ve no idea where I got the idea it was about three musicians who put out fires. It is early in the morning.

That was the funniest thing I have read in a while! In my attempt to make video more relevant to the forum I may have steered the post in the wrong way:)

I actually do have a friend who is an illusionist - actually he runs a firm that do the big spectacular stuff here, and with covid - they have no work. He's now a firefighter, but I bet he's trying to devise ways to make fire engines vanish. In the theatre show last year we did - he managed to get a Roninson R22 Helicopter to fly out from the stage over people's heads.

Great work, Paul. Thanks for sharing this. Sounds like it should sound.
You are not only doing excellent work but also employing musicians in a field they might never have imagined doing. Do you shoot and edit the video too?
