I’m going to guess this just got promoted at 2019 something. All I can find is what the video does tell you. Yes, it does DAW volume control. Motorised faders. I have the Xtouch which is probably more expensive than this. It has dedicated group buttons. The bcr2000 does talk about 4 groups, so maybe on the groups of faders too.

Best I can do.

Yes, the controler can control more than 8 channels.. and you can even buy more than one to cascade them...
Yes, it will control the volume of the assigned track panning and other features and you can customise what the buttons do.

But get this :
I used 2 controlers over the years the Mackie control and the QCon Pro x. They both have the pros and cons, but I wouldn't have bought any of them if they didn't have a transport section. REV FF - STOP - PLAY - REC Buttons.
Before you buy try to figure out what are the most used fonction that you do with your mouse which could be replaced by a controler.
Of all the fonctions it offers, I don't do much with mine but the most important ones to me is, the transport section, faders for volume and rotary for panning, markers and punch in/out fonctions, the Zoom tools and a bit of the scrub wheel..
Yes, I sometime use the save, undo buttons and the loop fonctions but I use them a bit less..

Behringer made these very simple, so the cleverness comes in mapping the physical controls to your DAW. I tried the all knob version and Behringer sent me the controller codes I needed to make Cubase be controlled by it - and it worked fine - but I never mastered how to do this myself - mapping cc36 to a Cubase function, then making the displays react. I found it v very, very complicated, put it back in the box and gave up, selling it eventually on Ebay. I don't count myself stupid, but writing the control side in the tables in Cubase and setting up the sending side in the control were headaches I did without. The products were excellent, just not very user friendly.
