Your Avatar Submitted by lxx on Sat, 01/22/2005 - 10:42 Hi everybody, I just bought a VMS 70 with an SX 68 Cutterhead. Anyway I am looking for a second (reserve) cutterhead. It may be a SX 68 or an SX 74. It can be broken, that is no problem. If somebody has one for sale please let me know. Thanks a lot Lex Log in or register to post comments Comments Your Avatar anonymous Have you tried contacting Al Grundy? http://www.cutterhead.com/ Have you tried contacting Al Grundy? http://www.cutterhead.com/ Having one in reserve is definitely a great idea - just remember that the HFL and an LPF can be your very best friends! Really nice+perfect sounding head. I think, they use stronger and better copper for coils, so you don´t need helium cooling. I used it 2 years now, and i´m very happy with this !! Another point: Repair is very more cheaper than a old Neumann... Take a look at vinylium DOT com at cutterheads section...
