It's not Autotune or Melodyne. That is straight up vocoder. There are lots of different vocoders, hardware and soft. Which one it is I can't say.

You are probably the more correct. But the slice of sound I heard wasn't enough for me to really do anything with but react, so to speak.

What are some good quality vocoder softwares out there?

Antares has a harmonizer that acts like Autotune on 100% but it preserves the intonation so it doesn't sound like shit. That's all that is just get an autotuner and turn everything all the way up

The vocals may have been auto tuned first, but the main sound you are hearing is definitely a vocoder.

The only vocoders I have any experiance with are the micoKorg, and the one built into FL Studio. Both could get you close.

Digitech made an vocal harmonizer auto tuner back in the early 1990s. It imparted quite a robotic like effect when it was working hard and/or for that Ethel Merman patch. LOL.

Have one. Never use it.
