Hi everyone!
Does anyone know is there a way of "freezing" plugins in Cubase SX2?
I know that in Logic you can put a plugin on a track and freeze so when you're running a lot of plugins at once they don't clog up the cpu.
Does anyone know if there's an equivalent in Cubase and if so how do you implement it?

Not exactly, but you can duplicate the track, apply a plugin to
Not exactly, but you can duplicate the track, apply a plugin to the new track (destructively), mute the old track but keep it there in case you decide you want to go back to the uneffected version. Saves CPU I guess, but uses more HD space.
