Knowing your budget would be helpful? I'm not familiar with these? One of the specifications I don't like is that specification of 50 & 25 Watts of "peak power". That's crap! That should read 50 & 25 Watts of "RMS" power as a minimum. The real rating is RMS. So a 50 Watt Peak amplifier will generally boil down to 10 W RMS. That ain't anything to write home about. These look like imitation KRK's? Their power is raided in RMS in their specifications. So are all other professional powered monitors. But not these. Buyer beware. The rhetoric is incorrect.

I dunno if I'd have much faith in a company that doesn't know the difference between a digital audio interface, and a "soundcard":

[="http://www.ikey-audio.com/iconnex"]Products - iKey Audio[/]="http://www.ikey-aud…"]Products - iKey Audio[/]

"iCONNEX USB Sound Card

Introducing the iCONNEX, the all-new super compact, plug-and-play USB-powered sound card...."

And what a robust quality piece THAT thing appears to be, huh? It's even got a "key fob" built into its strudy ABS plastic case!

OH...and here's another little problem solver. (I didn't realize 'media recording' was recorded at a lower volume. Learn something new every day, huh? No sense making use of all those bits, just for media.)

[[url=http://="http://www.ikey-aud…"]Products - iKey Audio[/]="http://www.ikey-aud…"]Products - iKey Audio[/]

"M3 Portable Digital Recorder

Media recording is identical to audio recording, except that media recording usually occurs at lower volumes. It makes sense that companies who make premier audio recording products would also make great media recording products, provided that the design keeps in-mind those lower recording volumes."

Run, Forrest, run. Save your money. That company appears to be completely clueless.

Lohi!

I think the problem is that it was translated from Cantonese? And that ain't as common as Mandarin. Less verbiage more pictographs and this may be the result? But hey, if you get to listen to it and you like it, then go for it. Everybody likes a good bargain. But you can't listen with your eyes and you can't read how it sounds.

I've heard the iKey with 8" woofers. I know someone who uses them for their video editing system. They're not bad, but they seemed a little hyped in the bass in the 'less than ideal' room the friends use for their video suite. No way to know if the 5"-inch version is more or less accurate.

Listen to Remy, then listen to the speakers with your own ears.
