And so, that has nothing to do with the differences between the M150 and the M149.

The 150 has a titanium diaphragm with a directional pattern that is Omni directional in the low frequencies and directional in the higher frequencies. Titanium sounds way different from gold sputtered mylar. Can't even compare the two except that they both have tubes.

The 149 is variable pattern, selectable, with a gold sputtered mylar diaphragm, model K47 and is similar sounding to the U47 tube and U47FET. Both are great. Both are different. Both are used differently.

So you have a general contractor? I assume this is one of the illegal immigrants you find waiting in front of a 7-11?? They are of course following John Storyk's plans exactly?? I'm sorry, I meant the Russ Berger design group. Mickey Mouse maybe??

Ms. Remy Ann David
President of the Yogi Bear studio design group.

That looks like a lovely pick-a-nick basket studio you have there boo-boo boy!

I like this question. It shows a total lack of knowledge about microphones. It is sort like asking about the difference between, say, A 1975 Chateau Mouton Rotchild and a Krug Rose Brut. You know one of them has those little wires around the top and they are both wines and expensive. Which would I use to what, well, I guess both could go with a pizza.

(Sorry, a long day and a glass or two).

no i'm actually not using russ berger, i am using bob suffolk and no they aren't illegal immigrants. and they don't wait at 7-11 they wait at thurston in wood shack behind the store.

remy rad i really don't understand what your fatass is insinuating now. you think 600 sq. ft is small, who gives a shit.

thanks for the advice, swedish meatball

speaking of small swedish meatballs, do you remember how small some of the studios johnny cash and elvis recorded in back in the day. some of them had store windows in front i believe.

Actually, I prefer Martini and Rossi Asti Spumante! or perhaps some Korbel Brut!

I was going to reply that it was like asking if you wanted an Escalade or a Ferrari, but I think your analogy is better.

Aqualand....why the hostility dude?

You have to admit, you've been asking some seriously questionable questions.

Please, spill the beans about yourself now. We need to know the following immediately or I promise you, the next several posts will be a trashfest that will make Shotgun blush.

Name - (okay, if you prefer to remain anonymous, fine, but at least give us a fake one and throw us a bone....and if it's "JP" - you're screwed...).
Location -
What kind of gear do you currently own and use? -
What format are you working with? -
Do you have a studio, work at a studio, work at a guitar center, or just fantacize about one of the above? -
Other than in your best Wayne's World impersonation, have you ever laid eyes or hands on a Neuman microphone? -

Cheers -
