You're absolutely right -- Google provides some hits for "IF-TAD." Unfortunately, the sites you listed (and the ones I found with one exception) do not actually HAVE the Tascam IF-TAD. So thanks for the suggestion that I Google... I did.

So does anyone have a suggestion as to where I might find one? Ebay has them occasionally -- one now with no power supply. Nothing on craigslist. I thought perhaps a recording forum might be a place too look -- and someone here might have one they want to part with.
