Seems like the best bang for the buck. I just bought one on friday. Happy with it so far, but have only put in about 2 hrs of use. The action thing seems to be a common complaint as well as the velocity. The action won't bother me as I am a bass player, and I haven't messed with it enough to see if the velocity thing is going to be an issue.

Thanks guys for the opinions..
Ive been reading alot of mixed reviews, but generally as you guys have cited, the two major problems are the springy-ness of the keys and some minor troubles with the velocity..
I have had a fiddle with the Pro 88 at my local music store and find it quite good.. im from australia and the ebst price i can get it for is $950 AUD so roughly about $700 USD..
Is there anything else in its prive range? I was considering the Korg Kontrol 49 with the after touch pads..
hmmm decisions deccisions.... :(
Keep the comments coming and thank you!!
Ok, another potential candidate is the CME 88.. its for the same
Ok, another potential candidate is the CME 88.. its for the same price and is also 88 keys..
I've been advised that the key construction is of better quality but the trade off is the amount of knobs and buttons..
hmmm i beginning to lean towards the cme product now!!

Feture-wise it's a good controller. I don't like the action, and that's a VERY personal thing. IMO, the BEST action of ANY controller is offered by Fatar (which is the one I have).
The BEST thing for you to do is to actually play a few and see which offers the best action. If that's not important to you then, it's a moot point.
