Ok, I am wanting to use a usb mic with nuendo. I can't figure out how to get it to record. One friend suiggesting routing it, but I can't figure that out as well. Please any and all suggestions will be appreciated.

On a serious note, I'm curious about those usb mics. Where does the amplification stage occur? The signal cant be line level going into the usb connection, it would sound terrible because the amplification would have to occur inside the mic itself.
I've seen pics of those, and they arent big enough to hold a preamp.

Routing audio signals is a basic function of any DAW.
