I've A/B'd both, had them in my home studio at the same time. Mind you, my application is limited - solo fingerstyle acoustic and classical guitar, and I was looking at these mics to add to two other sources - a pair of small diaphragm condensers. Both mics were nice. I prefered the 4060 overall, despite its cardioid only pattern. It was smoother and simply more pleasant to listen to. The T3 sounded good, but it was a bit grainy and harsh (just a bit). I used Pendulum Audio and John Hardy pres.
