What are your thoughts on these two?
Would I be better off with a Soundelux?

I have most of the ADK stuff. It is no different than any other mic. It will not work on all people. It has a sound that may or may not work.
If you buy a used TT, send it straight to the custom shop to have it overhauled. They do ugrades in stages. The best is a new power supply, new diaphram, mod'd electronics. They know their limitations and are honest about them.

I have recorded the Kansas City Symphony with a pair over the conductor. I liked it. In the past, they saw most use as drum overheads, dualing acoustic guitars in a M/S set-up, some winds and female vocals. I used one on a duet that worked so well, the mother of the two girls was crying when she was monitoring. She couldn't thank me enough.
It is the tool in the right hands, with the right talent. A good source can make make anything sound good in some way. The opposite is true as well.
I would refer you to 3daudioinc. Lynn made a disc of a crap load of mics so that people could compare. There aren't jaw dropping differencees all of the time between mics. There is mucho BSo in our industry. There isn't much to a mic. It ain't rocket science. So, use your ears, do business with people that let you return things if they do not work out for you. In this case, call up Nathan at AtlasProAudio, as he carries both mics you are asking about.
