Steve -- this is me with everything I've ever put on tape! I liked it -- Wanted a little more from the vocals - wanted the harmonies to give it a bit more lift (they sometimes get lost a bit). Seems to be a lot of stuff competing for frequencies in that middle/low middle area.... Maybe open up some space by EQ'ing the two guitars a little differently?

That's funny, it's actually a single guitar with univibe. Are you previously familiar with the original? Mix technicalities aside, do you like the performances? Is there anything awkward or jarring?

Ok, Dogs you got me. I did some EQ work on the vocals to cut some of that < 1Khz mud. I think the mix breathes a little better - what does the jury say? (new version in the same SC link above)

Wow -- that definitely worked better for me - those vocals are great man!. The whole track was pretty sweet. I will listen to the original now to refresh my memory but I thought it was great.
