When patching one channel into another do you:
Take the line out TRS connection into the DI on channel two, OR do you take the signal from the XLR out into the DI on channel two?

Although i must say i prefer the unbalanced out because it feels a bit less contaminated....seeing that it bypasses the input transformer and is closer to being directly coupled to the grid of the next valve gain stage.

just thought id add, this is because if I take the signal from the line out int ch2, ill still get the signal being received on my 1st input on my sound card as well, seeing the xlr is normalled to input one. Gotta figure a way round this.
