First of all; I am sorry if this is posted in the wrong sub forum. I couldn't find a better sub forum to post into.
Our rehearsal room is about 20 square meters. We need the best possible monitoring with the equipment we got, as any other rock band. (We don't use headphones or small personal monitor speakers when we practice. )
A pillar, as thick as an arm, is placed at a stupid location in the room. It's hard for me to describe in English, so I have tried to draw a picture of it:

(The dots are just for the text formatting. P = the pillar (DAH?))
Our equipment:
1 drum set
2 mic amp "speaker towers", 2 x 1,5 meters in height with two 15" inch speakers and one "treble speaker"
1 Marshall stack
1 Marshall combo
1 bass combo
Where do you think we should place our stuff? At which angles do you think we should direct the speakers and amps? Do you think we should we should place the combos and/or stack on top of something to make the speakers come closer to the ears?
Please help us with this! I am newbie in this topic, I am better at playing music and mixing. I guess there are a lot of really good sound engineers here that have advice. All answers are appreciated!
