I started producing months ago and have made two songs in a week, then I promptly put them down because they were terrible. How do I make it better (I want my music to sound like
). Please help, I've been putting it off for too long! If you want to hear my terrible music (you really don't) search up UlfrMusic (no spaces).

One ; you posted electronic music on a recording forum, and I can bet no recording was done with a mic and a real instrument in your music.
Two ; you posted in the mastering section while using pre-mastered instruments.. ;)Seriously, it sounds ok. I could think you're just fishing for hits on your youtube account but, it's good stuff for a action game.
Other to do better, play an instrument and sing.. or associate yourself with some musicians that do.
Actually that's not mine. Remember my channel is UlfrMusic, this is the guy who I want to sound like

I'll try to help, to sound like that, it starts with good VSTi instruments, some creativity, a good mix and the work of a mastering engineer.
You should post one of your mix in the section : Fix this mix so we can have an idea of where you're at.
Usually we don't really discuss electronic music since there's a lot of sites specialised on the subject.
But I'm willing to give you my honest opinion.

First of all, you posted in the wrong section, Second, you provided a clip of what you want to sound like, but didn't upload any of your own work with your post, and third - which trumps the first two reasons - is that the name of this site is recording . org, and based on what I've heard, the productions you want your stuff to sound like don't include any actual recordings - which involves using mics and/or actual instruments; with occasional samples (but played by a human) used in their productions.
Our membership is made up of engineers, producers, musicians and songwriters who are looking for advice on how to make improve their recordings.
Importing pre-recorded samples and loops, and then editing them, or shuffling them around on a DAW timeline, is not recording.
You'd be better off to find a forum that caters to this style of music... there are several out there:
Well you made 2 mistakes. One ; you posted electronic music on
