Has anyone done a sound comparison with the Shure beta 52a with a pg52? I have the opportunity to pick up the 6 piece PG set for close to the same price as a single beta 52a. Opinionsout there?
I don't own a pg drum mic set but I do own a bunch of PG 58s. They were actually orphaned by a band I was in and I do offer a home for free wayward electronics. I use them rarely when we have backup singers, you can definitely tell the difference between them and a SM58. There is certainly a reason they can be sold for half the price.
