Hello -
I've done some research with the use of the 'search' function on these forums (and a couple others) and haven't come across very much information regarding this particular mic. I have read the review that is online by Sweetwater, but that's about all I could find.
I'm wondering if anyone here personally owns this mic or has ever tried it out and your thoughts on it. What applications did you use it on and were you satisfied with it?
For less than $170.00 I figure it may be one of the best deals I've ever come across.

Most of what I read in regards to the GT products are good things. So, I think it will be a pretty good mic, especially for that price.
Where did you find a GT50 for 170?

I purchased it on ebay... it is set to arrive today. I'll find out if I just got a really great deal, or if I got ripped off. I'm pretty sure I'll be walking away with a great deal.
I've found all of the GT mics to be excellent mics in general.
I've found all of the GT mics to be excellent mics in general. While there are better out there, for the money, they're hard to beat.

Thanks for the reply Cucco. Yeah, I just couldn't deny picking up a microphone from a company that (from what I've read) certainly seems to have a good track record... that and the price being less than half of regular retail cost.
