We've got a PreSonus Firebox for some super non-technical users to quickly record some audio, then we have scripts that tag it, convert it to mp3, and upload it to a podcast.

All is well, except every time they close the Firebox control panel (such as when they shut down for the evening) they have to go back into the control panel and add the 12db to Mic 1.

Is there any way to make this stick? Or at least script it so on startup it checks that box?

This has been by far the biggest disappointment on the Firebox for us.
