Just my luck . . was booked on a flight for yesterday (friday). Used up bonus miles and guess what ... the morning flight got cancelled ... they booked me on a flight later that day but when I finally explained to the dear lady that arriving in Munich at 11.30 am ... going to the fair and signing in by 12.30 and having to leave the fair at 2.45pm just wasn't worth the trip over there. She gave me my miles back but ended up saying that I would have to pay for airport taxes anyhow ... 30$ ... great . f**king great . so someone please tell me what I missed so I can get something out of those 30$ after all .
