I am auditioning an Alan Smart C1. I like it a lot, and I am wondering about the C2. Is the C2 an "updated" C1, or are the two completely different units? I don't want to go with the C1 if the C2 "blows it away" in some fashion. Any help out there? Thanks

I have a C2. From what I understand the C1 is a C2 with only one set of controls and meter. It is a stereo compressor only. The C2 can be used as a stereo or 2 mono compressors. K.D.
