I'm using an Audigy Sound Blaster Platinum Z sound card in my pc. The mixer is a Behringer--EURODESK MX3282A
32-Channel 8-Bus Mixing Console and I also have a Tascam MSR-16-- Reel to Reel.

My question is that there is only one 1/4 inch input into my sound card and the mixer obviously has stereo outputs. Do I need a different soundcard (suggestions please) or is the one I have sufficient for decent recording? After recording one track, I'd like to be able to send a signal out from the PC to the mixer to hear whats being recording over whats already been recorded. However there seems to be a hazy sound loop of sorts. Is the 1/4 inch stereo headphone output on the sound card the best way to get the signal back to the mixer? Everything sounds fine when I'm listening to the headphones while recording but not when using the mixer.
