So, I am using my dell inspiron 5150 laptop, cakewalk home studio 2002, my Tascam us-144 audio interface, and an mxl 990 for vocal recording my sound card in my laptop is a sigmatel audio sound card. My issue is after I lay down the acoustic guitar track and I go back to record vocals. Well, like the title states, I have latency issues. I used the slider to adjust the buffer, but I still have issues. At this point, I don't know what to do because I don't have a lot of experience. Any help on what my next move should be would be great. Also, I want to continue using home studio 2002 just because that's what I have and don't want to have to relearn everything on something new.
