How many productions are being cut today without a click track that say. . make the grade or seroiusly have the potential?
I figure it is pretty standard practice to do multiple takes of drums/beds and choosing the best bits for the final product.Is anyone acomplishing this without a click?The only way I can see this happening is by punching in series until the track is finished(and I do'nt mean the drummer in the head).This is fine?I suppose but right now I'm infatuated with a different style of working.
The playlist feature in Alsihad is my new best friend when it comes to tracking multiple takes and comping a track rather quickly.It is somewhat my enemy however when it comes to keeping organized.
What are you guys doing?I'm sorry if this topic is redundant in this neck of the woods!

I rarely use a click trick and never do on my own recordings. If there's a tempo problem, it's the same as any other screw up. This is for rock though so there are no programmed beats and timing isn't as important as in the electronica world.
