Someone must know this, i'm recording drums soon, need to know so i can make further arrangements.

I use Cubase LE 4. On each wave file in the edit area, I can right click > process > Invert Phase, and it will re-render it quickly like that. Works every time.

Keep in mind that you can select a whole bunch of waves at once and do it all in one command.

I use it all the time when I record a lead vocal through a tube preamp and a ss preamp. The tube preamp flips phase so I must flip it back.

Thanks for the advice Mr. Todd, the problem with that method is that you aren't able to hear how it sound until you record :)

But not to worry because I tested it out myself.

I know that if you take the exactly same signal, double it, then invert phase on one of them, they should cancel each other out.
I tested it using the SSL 4000 phase invert and it worked, so i answered my own question :D

I'm missing something here...you can flip phase back and forth all day after it is recorded. What am I missing here?
