Hi, I have Cubase 4 Studio.

I'm not really sure why this version is called studio because it does not have a built in phase inverter.
My friend assured that studio version had everything I needed but he was wrong and I switched the pick-ups to kill zone mode and he is no more.

Right I'm new to Cubase and computer recording, my sey up is my pc to a Tascam 1641 interface ive pretty much got everything sorted but theres a few things i cant seem to figure out,

Problem 1: at random times ill be playing or recording a song and my speakers will start to make a weird weak distorted sound then after a while will return to normall.

I was wondering if anyone on this forum has done some sort of accurate comparison between these two software packages.
Comparing similar tracks and then some analysis of the results to see if there were distinct differences or not.
I would also be interested in any reviews that performed a similar comparison.

Hi,
I have been using Cubase for some time now, however just using audio. I want to be able to record using midi in Cubase 4 and to be able to create a score with very basic notation. I have looked at the manual and well. mm...hence being here.
