I've used Audacity to record and have only done basic EQ with Logic, but I want to start recording, editing, and all with Logic. From what I've read so far, most of the recording setups have been for electric instruments, midi, etc, and maybe I'm just missing something simple.

Can anyone who's familiar with setting up a 2-mic recording for a group of acoustic musicians in Logic X please recommend a step-by-step approach to recording the 2 channels, and then save or export them as both individual files for left and right channel, and exporting as 1 stereo file.
I'm able to open a new project with the new tracks, but I don't know how to record both channels at the same time. Clicking the small red 'R' button in a particular track seems to make only that particular channel active for recording and not both.

Thanks
