I bought the original version when it first came out about 3-4 years ago, and it first, it seemed like great at the mastering stage, but i soon realized that it is only ear candy, and was actually hurting my mixes. It is very, very easy to over due (especially the bass).

Doublehelix is sooooo right. I had the same experience as him, and came to the same conclusions. Steer clear of any excitement/enhancement on the mastering bus! The effect cannot be reversed!
