Hi All,
I have a question. I have no clue about Mac comps. I use PC. One of my frieds who has MAC offered me his help in cleaning vocal tracks (waves). So I took my LaCie external firewire drive (formated in ntfs), put my Waveson it and gave it to him. Unfortunately, he cannot open the files. He doesn't even see files. What can he do to see them? Does he need any software for that? He installed drivers from LaCie CD but still no luck. Is it the ntfs that causes the problem? Should it be FAT? What is going on with MAC? :)
any help will be greatly appreciated.
tnx,
chris
Yes, the drive should be in FAT 32 as a Mac will not see an NTFS
Yes, the drive should be in FAT 32 as a Mac will not see an NTFS drive unless it's on a network that Mac access, UAM I believe it is...
Best thing to do is burn the file sot a CD and give it to him..
Unless you want to format the drive as FAT32 that is!
Opus :D
