The Powercore can't handle any Waves plugins. They're a good combination because you can run the Powercore-specific plugins and free up more of your computer's processor so you can run more Waves plugins, but you can't run any Waves plugins on the Powercore.

I have about 14 -18 channels in nuendo.
I'd like to be able to add compression-eq on everychannel plus some other Effects like flanger doubler. some Ir1 reverbs.
I guess I can do the reverbs later.

yeah you couldn't use external plugins in you Powercore. You can only use the ones made for it.But you can use the the plugins in different host (like cubase,nuendo...) so you can manage to use the waves with you PC Cpu and using the plugins from the powercore using the powercore cpus and it doesn't stress you PC Cpu.

i've seen alot of people inserting their reverbs on the channels instead of sending to them.... this will eat up ANY kind of DSP you'll be able to get your hands on...
is that the case?? you should be able to get what you need...
i've run 32 tracks with waves ren eq (4-band) and ren comp on each track... plus waves linear phase multiband and eq on the sum with an L2 to finish it off.... AND have cpu for two altiverbs (compares to ir-1)...
all this on a single processor on a dual G5/2Ghz.... and i'm told all the time that pc's are faster..... so you must do something wrong!
but if you're willing to pay 6000$ on plugs (as you did... didn't you?) you must be able to find a solution... (just wonder why you bought the musicians bundle and transform bundle as they're both included in the diamond bundle!!!)

Same here but...The IR1 does it.I use pretty much on everything...Not just on the master track
