I am trying to set up a node application between a G4 & G5 (the G5, being the node). Is this application working for anyone. I see the G5 in preferences. But the error message says it cannot connect. Help somebody!

I have gone on mac.com and followed the directions about deleting a file and making sure the name of the computer doesn't have things like apostrophe's in it. I really don't know what else to do.

I am using a cat5 crossover ethernet cable. Is that correct?

Is there something else that has to be turned on?

Mac has no phone support, except $199 per incident.
