:(
I just recently purchased expansions BFD. And am having all kinds of problems. I'm running 6.4le on a G5 running Panther 10.3.3 with 2 gigs ram, using rewire. Sounds are great yet using to track is tough. Maybe I'm just clue less. I'm getting all kinds of memory problems! Go figure. Cpu power usage is cranked and still. What's up? If I put a click track on along with BFD. .Pro Tools blows up ! Forget trying to track the "grooves". everthing goes to hell, I get maybe a 1/2 a bar before it stops.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sie7e wrote: Throw Pro Tools out the window. Get nuendo or Cubase. I found that BFD works flawlessly on those. Protools does not even have a decent metronome to begin with, you actually have to buy a metronome plugin to get a decent one. (that shows you how bad for sequencing that thing is)
Sorry, I know my answer does not help. but Pro tools is horrible when it comes to using sample heavy virtual instruments due to the fact that it is a great tool for recording audio but a bad program for sequencing.

Don't talk nonsense! I run PT LE 6.4 on a PC and have no problems whatsoever with sequencing MIDI either with or without 'Soft Synths and Samplers'.
I have used SampleTank 2, Kontakt and Intakt too no prob.
With FXpansions VST to RTAS wrapper I've used Emagic EXSP24, Steinberg/Wizoo Xphraze and the Korg Legacy Collection (minus the Legacy.dll).
fordfan: you might want to go over to the DUC (digidesign user conference), I'm sure there is someone there that'll be able to help you with your problem. No pointless 'throw PT out the window...get Nuendo or Cubase' nonsense over at the DUC. :)
