Another pro tools m-powered question. I have a MacBook with Pro Tools installed on it. But if i want to start a new project it says that my HD is not a valid playback or record volume. I checked Digidesign website and my HD was formated the way it should be Extended (Journaled). It will not allow me to set my volume on Record or Playback in the Workspace menu either.

You'll need to make sure your drive has permission to read and w
You'll need to make sure your drive has permission to read and write. Highlight the drive and hit Apple+I to get the info. The permissions are down at the bottom. You should then be able to set it in the Workspace.
If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what else it could be...
If you're not using an external HD, you should. It'll make your life a lot easier in the long run.
