I was wondering as dumb as this may sound, would anyone trust cracked Pro Tools plugins downloaded from limewire? Ive ran them through a virus scan and they are clean... what risks am I running by using these?
Also, I own a 001, I am just getting into recording more than one track at a time ie: a full drum kit... The 001 only comes with two mic preamp's... so should I just get an 8 channel mic preamp, and run out of the 8 channel mic preamp into the 001(each input on the mic preamp has an output that will go into ONE of the inputs of the 001 and so on), or should I get an actual mixer/console to do this?

As I'm sure you know cracked software is illegal. It's discussion is here is inapropriate. Software vendors and programers alike cruise these forums to guage the publics opinion of their product. I am sure they would not appreciate RO giving advice on the use of illegal software. For that reason and the fact that I and others find it's use to be dishonest to say the least, I will not respond to questions on it.
