well I saw that you were going to musicians friends a lot. You should try Sweetwater for recording equiptment. If you call 1(800)222-4700. You have to wait a few minuites but its worth it. Their sales engineers help me out a lot. If you can find the product your looking for from them, they might have a lowest price guarentee, meaning they'll sell it to you for the best deal you find (probably musiciansfriend I must admit).

Oh and I noticed your looking at audio interfaces instead of just preamps (as you wrote on your subject. Ask someone from sweetwater weather you need an audio interface or just the preamp! That'll save you a few bucks.
