I have myself an ADAT sound card...
but i have no mixer to go with it...
main objective here is to get 8 channels of sweet drumming onto the computer as 8 seperate tracks of sweet drumming instead of bouncing the tracks down to 1 mono unmixable channel :)
problem is .. i can't find any 8 channel mixers with ADAT on them..
(ARSE!)
anyone know of any
thanks!

just to check, so if i had 8 microphones... (condensor and dynamic) and i connected them to that equiptment (on each 8 channels) then i could then take the adat.. connect it to my computer and record on cubase? (on 8 seperat channels)
is that right?
if so WOW! AWESOME D:D:
but essentially its a Mic Preamp that i'm looking for then... (with adat output)
Here, these are 8 channel pres with ADAT outs, they will sound w

just out of curiosity
does that figure vary?
so for example.. when you have on mic plugged in.. is that what that figure applies to?
so if i had all 8 mics plugged in with sound going through..
would the quality of each channel degrade at the other end?
see.. I'm planning on using it for drums...
or am i talking out of my ARSE!
