Don't sweat it, it sounds very, very good. It almost mixes itself. If you improved it and I don't see what needs to be improved, there would have been nothing left to mix (for the rest of us).

By the way, does this mean that only kick, drum loop and vocals were compressed to tape (disk) and nothing was eq'd?

I left out a copmressor on the bass guitar..but besides that, nothing else was compressed or Eq'd to 'tape'.

Ametth, didnt know you had a Red... I LOVE that pre, even though a lot of people disagree. I woulda used the REd on vocs instead of the 1272, though. YOu have alot more stuff than I thought you had...

I'm not a big fan of the pre at this point..and I'm actually selling it. I think if I spent some more time with it, I would find uses for it. But at this point I would rather get something else with more channels.
