For a long time I have been visiting stores, searching in the net. Reading forums etc. But still I couldn't make a conclusion what to buy? Somewhere I read something about preamps , and somewhere else I read that actually I don't need preamps .. And the same with mixers!

So I know there is no an actual truth but. I am asking the professinals, how would they spend 2000 $ on a home studio?
