I really hope this doesn't make me look like an idiot, but here goes:
I finally decided to get a decent pair of studio monitors (I've just been using headphones and stereo's for monitoring). I got the M-Audio Studiophile BX5A model. They are pretty sweet, but I can't figure out how to hook them up to my computer. They only have a TRS and an XLR input. The manual makes no indication of how to do this (which makes me believe that I'm missing something that is way obvious).
So what do I need to do to be able to monitor through my laptop (which has a stereo mini output)? Thanks! [/img]

then two standard 1/4 in jack leads to go to the monitors. The TS jacks will work OK in the TRS inputs of the monitors.
