Can anyone point me to an online resource that walks through the process of getting digital audio from DAW to a web page?

I know very little about best case practices, compression things to remember but have a possible project that I need to get from Digital Performer 4.1 to a web page. Probably just a 30 second piece that might also be partnered with a looping 5 second piece of music.
